Explore chance in contemporary music with percussionist Richard Putz and moderator Marieke Rügert, who developed the concept. John Cage's methods include coin tosses and, in Variations, lines, dots and circles on transparent sheets. The audience joins the musicians to create a new piece shaped by chance. This family concert is for ages 5 and up.
