Participants examine everyday products from the kitchen, bathroom and household to find out whether they are acidic, neutral or basic. Red cabbage juice changes colour on contact with these substances, turning pink, blue or green. Young people pipette, observe and compare samples, building their own colour scale to decode the results. Rafael and Nicole lead the session in the Maker Lab.
