This family musical by Monika Ehrhardt and Reinhard Lakomy follows the forest spirits Waldwuffel and Moosmutzel, who live by the dream magic tree and prepare Christmas wish lists along with the wild dream louse Agga Knack. When Helga Himmel, the heavenly messenger of light, disappears while collecting a special Christmas dream leaf, it turns out the mysterious old hat Herr Kellerstaub has carried her off to the castle of Möchthild von Grummel, who hates Christmas and wants to stop it from happening. With the help of Herr Kellerstaub and some very brave children, Möchthild is outwitted, Helga Himmel delivers the dream leaf to the Heavenly Director, and Herr Kellerstaub's silver Christmas chime rings out once more.
