On this interactive guided tour, families and small groups follow stories of people who fled the GDR for West Berlin, told from a child's point of view. Participants learn why families left, what daily life in the reception camp was like, and what hopes carried them forward. Small hands-on elements, open questions and time for conversation make the history tangible. Groups should include at least one child aged 8 to 12, though younger or older siblings and friends are welcome to join.
