Historians Felix Wiedemann and Patrick Helber lead this 90-minute German-language tour about Felix von Luschan, longtime director of the Africa and Oceania department at Berlin's former Museum für Völkerkunde. Using selected objects and photographs, including the Benin Bronzes and the Luf boat, they explore his role in colonial appropriation and today's restitution debates, alongside his contradictory stance against völkisch-antisemitic race theories. Suited to visitors aged 14 and up, with advance booking required.
