This children's university lecture looks at who gets to use public space in the city — streets, green areas and squares — and how children are often overlooked in those decisions, even though trying things outside, discovering new experiences and having places to meet matter to them. The talk shows how a climbing project can bring energy to a neighbourhood and benefit children and adults alike. The lecture hall is reserved for children, with a few seats for adults in an adjoining room.
