This workshop series explores pre-cinematic optical toys, with each month devoted to one device across two sessions. In November the focus is the zoetrope: participants investigate how the eye perceives movement and learn to animate individual images by hand. They produce their own picture strips to use in a zoetrope, and the resulting small films can be taken home or displayed at Wolf Kino.
