In this architecture workshop, children explore whether a curved roof can be built from straight parts. They learn about the hyperbolic paraboloid, a saddle-shaped surface, and how architects use this form in real buildings. Using straight rods, children build their own model of such a roof. The workshop is led by Mikhail Betekhtin, a practising architect and designer who curates educational programmes at the Society of Young Architects.
