Playwright Matin Soofipour Omam reads extracts from her play “Raumrauschen”, followed by questions and an open conversation with the audience. The play explores the search for a personal and a shared language, and for what stays unsaid; the author also speaks from her own experience of arriving in Germany and having to learn a new language. Soofipour Omam studied in Tehran and Berlin and has worked as a theatre pedagogue and dramaturge, including at Theater an der Parkaue; “Raumrauschen” was honoured in 2024.
