Actress Katharina Thalbach and her half-brother Pierre Besson recite texts and poems by illustrator Wilhelm Busch, regarded as a pioneer of the German comic strip. Composer Torsten Rasch set a number of these poems to music especially for the siblings, who perform the pieces together. Many of Busch's original drawings are also shown during the evening, bringing his humorous and sometimes dark characters to the stage.
