Participants learn what really happens during saponification, how fats and a few ingredients turn into soap through a chemical reaction, and why it cleans. They then create their own soap, choosing its shape, colour, scent and glitter effects. No prior knowledge is needed, only curiosity about chemistry and enthusiasm for making things. Participants should bring their own apron or wear suitable clothing, and take home their personal DIY soap. The session is led by Rafael and Nicole.
