Snow swirls through the air and covers the apple tree's branches. A snowflake blows into a mouse hole and wakes mouse child Jakob, who discovers his first winter world: snow, a snowball and a snowman. Depending on the calendar, the story ends with Jakob discovering Christmas or Carnival, which he celebrates before falling tired into his cosy winter nest. Part of the “Jahreszeitenquartett” series, the show lasts 40 minutes and suits the whole family, including the youngest children.
