Known in hip-hop as Sookee, Sukini makes music for children that adults can also listen to. Her songs address contemporary debates, and she interacts directly with her audience. The title track of her second album, “Da haben wir den Salat”, responds to children's requests for a song about animals: it discusses not eating animals, animal rights and animal welfare in an age-appropriate way.
