Based on the book by Birgitta Behr, this puppet show tells the true story of Susi, a Jewish girl, and her family, who go into hiding and face constant danger as the Nazis tighten their grip. Susi and her parents survive, while her grandmother is deported and killed. The story is told using a puppet, objects, sounds and projections. It runs 70 minutes, and some performances are followed by a discussion for school classes. Recommended from age 9.
