On a tour of the castle museum, children and parents see 17th-century tapestries and learn how weavers created whole scenes from silk and wool threads, and about textiles in the time of Louise Henriette von Oranien. In the museum workshop, led by weaver Birgit Zehlike, participants then try weaving themselves, using weaving boards and table or high looms to make items such as cushions or small bags, which they take home.
