Based on an idea and book by Thomas Sutter, this musical journey traces Beethoven's life with a chamber orchestra, band and choir. His original scores form a biographical thread, increasingly cut through by electric guitar and synthesizer sounds as his deafness progresses. Quotes from Beethoven are woven into the story. A 13-person ensemble performs this historical artist portrait over 135 minutes.
