Farmer Huber takes a young eagle home and raises it among his hens. The bird gradually starts behaving like them, but a visiting ornithologist encourages it to fly. In the mountains, the eagle finally takes flight. Rudolf Schmid and Paul Gräntzel perform this adaptation of James Aggrey’s story. The performance lasts 50 minutes and is recommended for children aged 5-9.
