Two picture books are read aloud: “der erste Schritt” by Pija Lindenbaum and “Die Mauer. Eine Parabel” by Giancarlo Macri and Carolina Zanotti. A king decides only blue people may live in his kingdom and builds a wall, then realises how foolish this is, while a guarding sheep makes sure no one crosses the line. The story raises the question of what happens when rules are broken. The reading takes place in German and suits children aged 3 to 6.
