This ballet follows a statue in an abandoned garden that awakens with spring and gradually discovers movement, emotion, friendship and the world around it. The story moves from summer's brilliance through autumn's colours to winter's stillness, with new costumes and set designs created especially for this production. The choreography is by Kristian Lever, a former Hamburg Ballet dancer and choreographer.
