Preschool and primary-school children join the Forschergarten team for participatory science experiments, with opportunities to investigate independently. The subject changes between sessions: themes include soap bubbles, colours, electricity and Christmas. The programme receives support through the neighbourhood culture and library initiative 'Kultur und Bibliotheken im Stadtteil – KUBIST'.
