At this open microscopy session, children and their parents look through binocular microscopes to see what usually stays hidden from the naked eye, from animal species living in water to the close-up texture of mussels and insects. A museum educator is on hand to answer questions, and visitors are welcome to bring along their own small finds to examine. Suitable for children aged 5 and up.
