This Christmas story is told from the surprising perspective of an ox and his stable companion, the donkey. When the ox discovers a human baby in his manger, the two animals argue over whose job it is to look after the crying child. Written by Norbert Ebel, the play touches on themes of abandonment and flight, with live music and sound effects played on stage and artificial snow used at two points. It runs for 55 minutes.
