This puppet show for children aged 3 to 6 brings Anne Herbauts' picture book “Was macht der Mond in der Nacht?” to the stage. Over 45 minutes, two performers act out a series of nighttime scenes as the moon paints stars, quiets the cities, watches over sleeping children and brings them dreams, and waters the meadows with dew. The story unfolds around four movable screens with openable windows, performed with stick puppets, while shadow play shows the children's dreams.
