Visitors photograph interesting motifs in the museum and the historic Nikolaiviertel, then choose their favourite pictures together in the museum lab. The photos are printed on paper and decorated by hand with pens, stamps, glue and other materials rather than digitally, using templates to turn them into photo frames. The finished frames make a nice Berlin souvenir to keep or give away. No German language skills are needed, and visitors can simply come in and join.
