This play with puppets and music, based on the Brothers Grimm tale, is spoken mainly in German with a little English, Russian and Turkish, for children aged 4 and up, and lasts 45 minutes. Donkey, dog, cat and rooster are each beaten, fired or considered too old. Together they set out for Bremen, convinced they can find something better than death. They never reach the city they set out for, but find friendship and a new perspective along the way.
