Born in a flower, Thumbelina meets a toad, fish, a dancing butterfly, a beetle and a helpful field mouse. A wealthy mole wants to take her to his palace but cannot share her longing for sun and flowers, so a swallow carries her to the land of flowers, where a prince awaits and she finds new friends. This puppet show by Thomas Mierau, based on Hans Christian Andersen, suits families, kindergartens and schools, with a backstage tour for school groups.
