Wizard Beelzebub Irrwitzer and his aunt, witch Tyrannja Vamperl, race against time: their pact with the devil demands that by New Year's Eve they wipe out animal species, kill trees and spread a plague. To finish the job they brew a powerful potion that turns every good wish into its opposite at midnight. The High Council of Animals sends spies Maurizio the cat and Jakob the raven to stop them. Based on Michael Ende's children's book, directed by Mathias Spaan.
