Four animals – a donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster – are driven away by their owners and find themselves thrown together by fate. Chased off and threatened, they decide to travel to Bremen and become town musicians. Along the way they face danger, hardship and disagreement, discovering that happiness is not always where they expect to find it. This musical retelling of the Grimm fairy tale is set to blues music and suits children from age 4.
