Marie-Elsa Drelon and Rudolf Schmid perform a fairy tale as though rehearsing it. Children see how puppets are made, acquire voices and develop characters. They choose the king puppet that will appear and join in the performance. Using Der Drachentöter as its story, the show also demonstrates how music, sound effects and lighting work on stage.
