This indoor festival brings dragon boat racing to a swimming hall. One day is reserved for a school cup combined with an apprenticeship fair, where teams also collect points at companies' activity stations. Another day belongs to amateur and recreational teams in a fun cup, and a further day hosts the first German Open for professional teams. Boats carry up to ten paddlers plus one drummer, and each team must include at least 30 percent women. Spectator stands are open during the fun cup and the German Open, but the school cup is a closed event.
