This puppet show, based on Janosch's “Das Apfelmännchen,” follows Mr. Huber, whose apple tree never blooms while his neighbour's trees flourish. When his wish finally comes true, the single blossom grows into a giant fruit no one at the market wants. A dragon then threatens the land, and the giant apple becomes the bait that stops it and saves everyone. The show runs 35 minutes, performed by Rudolf Schmid and Peggy Anders, directed by Ulrike Winkelmann.
