This fairy-tale puppet show, based on a story by Janosch, follows a poor man whose apple tree never bears fruit or blossom. Sad about his bare tree, he wishes, over and over, for just a single apple to grow on it. The play shows what happens when someone wishes with complete sincerity for something so small.
