Children’s department staff read a story outdoors in sunshine, using Kamishibai on the library forecourt. Rain brings an alternative programme in the children’s department. During the colder season, picture-book cinema takes place indoors instead of Kamishibai. The activity is for children aged 3 and above, and people of all ages are welcome. Registration is not required. Kamishibai theatres and matching picture cards can also be borrowed.
