The mobile planetarium dome INTENSE, run by the Stiftung Planetarium Berlin, visits the library after touring Berlin's daycare centres and schools. The nine-metre dome, set up by the INTENSE team, uses a high-resolution projector to show undistorted images and normally seats a whole school class or group. In the afternoon the planetarium opens to families, children and other visitors, alongside readings and themed play activities about the planetarium. Registration is required in advance.
