Sit together and sew decorative patterns by hand with a simple running stitch and contrasting thread. The technique has roots in Bengali Kantha stitching. Artist Jessica Voce started the group, which three women now run independently. Beginners and experienced stitchers of every age and background are welcome. Materials and refreshments are provided, and no registration is needed.
