This hands-on workshop introduces the Japanese textile techniques Sashiko and Boro, used to mend, reinforce or decorate fabric with simple stitches and new patterns. Rather than aiming for perfect sewing, the focus is on trying things out together, giving old clothes and textiles a new life instead of throwing them away. Participants bring their own fabric, such as clothing, jeans or bags, while felt is provided for children; personal thread colours are welcome. Open to all ages from 5 upward.
