Based on Wilhelm Hauff's tale, this musical play follows Jakob, who helps his mother sell vegetables at the market. A strange old woman tricks him and serves him a soup that turns him into a hunch-backed dwarf with an overlong nose for seven years. Unrecognised even by his mother, he finds work at a duke's court, where his cooking skills and a secretly befriended goose help him outwit the duke. Live cello music accompanies the show.
